Micro Target Media Technologies is a Toronto-based company that leverages various technology resources to maximize operational efficiency of its clients. The company’s products include systems to manage outdoor advertising placement, performance measurement and the Service, Pick-Up and Delivery System. (SPUD). SPUD marries RFID and GPS (Global Positioning Systems) to help with route optimization, handling customer complaints, and keeping track of inventory. The system uses what has been designed to be an easy-to-use handheld unit that each driver carries to record daily activities. The handheld unit tracks the units via RFID tags that are installed on the inside of each unit.
